Diversity and Inclusion
At Brocacef Group, we believe it is important that all employees and future employees can be who they are, regardless of their gender, sex, age, race, background, sexual orientation, and whether or not they have a disability.
We also find it important to connect all these employees by organising joint events and sports activities, where initiatives from employees are encouraged and facilitated. Below are some examples, in addition to Christmas and Sinterklaas celebrations, a joint football tournament from PHOENIX Group, and an active employee association.

BENU Run Club
In 2024, we started the BENU Run Club. Led by former top athlete Dennis Licht, a group of about 50 colleagues from across the country trained for ne of the Singelwalk events in Utrecht, Gouda, or Breda. For some, it was their very first running event, for others, a great motivator to keep running or a good way to train for a personal record.
It was wonderful to see that when everyone is in their sports outfit, it no longer matters whether you are a manager or not, or whether you work at the headquarters or in the pharmacy. Sport unites!

Ramadan Participation Day
On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, the Ramadan 'Participation Day' was organised for the second time at Brocacef's headquarters in Maarssen. During the day, colleagues learnt about the special month of Ramadan and experience what it is like to fast from sunrise to sunset. The Ramadan 'Participation Day' is organised on the initiative of several colleagues and financially supported by the organization.
Collaboration with Reinaerde
Work and daytime activities are available for people with disabilities who require additional support to develop and progress or, for those requiring a safe space for quiet time away from the pressures of life. We are happy to contribute to this. Therefore, clients of Reinaerde prepare about 50,000 jars each year for medicines and other medical products on behalf of Brocacef.
