Brocacef Group supports the Association of Young Pharmacists because we believe in the power of young, innovative professionals in the pharmaceutical sector. Through our sponsorship we contribute to their professional development and encourage initiatives that advance the sector.

As the main sponsor, we provide financial support and participate in their events, such as member meetings and workshops. This gives us the opportunity to directly connect with young pharmacists and inspire them with our vision on sustainability, inclusivity, and diversity. Moreover, our sponsorship helps us make a positive impact on the future leaders of the pharmaceutical world, specifically for community pharmacies.

Since 2018, BENU Netherlands has been a proud main sponsor of the Skills Heroes competitions, the largest vocational event in the Netherlands. Over 600 students compete for the title of 'Dutch champion' in their field.

As one of the largest employers in the healthcare sector in the Netherlands, we find it important that students are proud of the profession they are learning for and can showcase it. Such a competition contributes to that. By being the main sponsor of this competition, we demonstrate that BENU is an attractive employer. This collaboration also strengthens contacts with the more than 20 participating education centers in The Netherlands.

Our pharmacy assistants and pharmacists contribute to writing the competition assignments, serve on the panel, and provide a workshop to the finalists to prepare them for the final.

On Saturday, September 7, 2024, the fifth edition of the Tour de BENU was organized. A large group of colleagues cycled, together with customers and partners of Brocacef Group, an 80-kilometer ride for the Leontienhuis Foundation. In addition to organising the event, Brocacef Group provided joint anniversary jerseys and donated an amount to the foundation. Participants could also take part in a raffle, with the proceeds benefiting the Leontienhuis.

On Friday, May 3, 2024, Brocacef Group helped create the longest (freedom) lunch table in the Netherlands. The Vermaat Group organized this initiative to provide lonely elderly people with a culinary and enjoyable afternoon. Brocacef Group made a donation and provided 2 volunteers to have meaningful conversations with the elderly.
