Sustainability report Brocacef Group 2025-2026
At Brocacef, we believe that sustainability is an integral part of creating value for patients, customers, colleagues and society. I am therefore proud of the progress we have once again made in the 2025-2026 financial year.
Together, we have taken important steps towards achieving our sustainability ambitions. Based on our Scope 1 and 2 emissions, we achieved a 70% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared with 2021, as a result of measures implemented over the past few years. We have also prepared for new European sustainability legislation, further embedding sustainability into our day-to-day operations.
However, sustainability is about more than just the environment. We have also made progress in the areas of people and society. Over the past year, for example, we have placed an increased focus on lifestyle and health promotion in our pharmacies. More and more colleagues are also incorporating sustainability into their daily work and actively contributing to improvements. It is precisely this collective effort that makes a difference and gives me confidence for the future.
Our position in independent benchmarks also demonstrates that our efforts are being recognised. It is a welcome confirmation that Brocacef is among the frontrunners in our sector. At the same time, we do not consider this an end point. The challenges facing society remain significant and require continued attention and action. We are therefore currently developing a new policy plan for the 2027-2030 period, building on the steps taken in recent years.
